This program was set up by God to share His salvation message - Regardless of what you have done, the grace of God is there for all - Jack Murphy went to the State of Florida to request that his civil rights be restored but was denied - October 29, 1964, Murphy and two accomplices stole the Eagle Diamond, the Midnight Sapphire, the Delong Ruby and the Star of India of the J.P. Morgan Jewel Collection from New York's Museum of Natural History and spent two years in jail for the crime - Jack later was the lookout driver for the getaway car in a robbery of Miami Beach Socialite - Murphy was later charged with first degree murder in the Whiskey Creek murders - Then he was convicted of murder of Terry Ray Frank and sentenced to life in prison - In 1970 he was also convicted for another murder for which he was sentenced to another life plus twenty years in prison - Jack has been traveling to prisons around the world with Bill Glass' Champions for Life to share the hope and love of Jesus to inmates - Murph the Surf shares his testimony of how he came to know Jesus as his Savior while serving two life prison terms plus twenty years while in a Florida maximum security prison on death row - Murphy tells those who are walking lives of failure to listen to those who love them - Murph relates of receiving letters in prison from people encouraging him to turn to God - He even received a letter addressed to him personally that compared Jonah to his rebellion and encouraged him to cry out to God for His help - February 1974 the Weekend of Champions athlete tour came to the prison for three days, the prison chaplain got up and addressed those in attendance in their own vernacular - Murph and another leader among the inmates named Big Web stepped forward and received Jesus and he has had a wonderful adventure ever since - Jack relates how he couldn't quit the anger, drugs, alcohol or any of the sin on his own, but when he invited Jesus Christ into his life He changed everything from inside and exhorts viewers to do the same.
